November 6

Police received a report of a break and enter to a residence southwest of Camrose.  Bullet holes were noted and entry was gained to the residence.  Several items were stolen including a television and laptop computer.  Vehicles parked at the residence were damaged and rummaged through. This matter is currently under investigation.

November 8

A 23 year old Fort McMurray man is facing charges after a 78 year old woman was found deceased in her home in Camrose County. This matter is before the courts. 

November 11

Two males in black hoodies attempted to steal the ATM from a rural gas station shortly before 5:00 AM.  This is being investigated. 

A business near Rosalind was broken into at approximately 5:30 AM.  The building was rummaged through.  This file is currently under investigation. 

Camrose RCMP has been receiving complaints of telephone scams.  Targeting seniors, unknown person(s) are calling and claiming to be with Revenue Canada, the RCMP and many other associations in an attempt to obtain money.  Please be aware.  Do not send money, do not purchase iTunes gift cards or the like, or provide any banking information to them.  There is no need to report these phone calls unless you have already provided your credit card information or if you are missing money.
