Rose City Roots started as a small group of friends who wanted to bring live music to Downtown Camrose, and support the arts and culture community in rural Alberta. Since then, Rose City Roots has showcased more than 130 artists from across Alberta, Canada, and from around the world, playing a range of “roots” music, including folk, alternative folk, roots rock, roots blues and roots country. Performers have played in a variety of venues, from Scalliwags to the Alice to FIKA, and most recently in the Bailey Theatre.
