Home Support aides provide services dependent on what needs to be done and what the clients can do for themselves.  Typically our clients require assistance with cleaning the main living areas of their home.  These areas include the kitchen, bathroom, living room/dining room and bedroom.  We will assist with laundry, taking out garbage, errands and respite care.  Our staff are friendly, mature trained people. They are skilled in housekeeping duties. They are understanding and sympathetic and respect the confidence of everyone they work with.

Laundry

We utilize your laundry machines in your home/apartment.  We do not iron, and do not hand wash laundry.

Errands

Home Support aides may provide errands for clients.  Mileage will be charged to the client for errands.  We do no transport clients to appointments or other locations.

Client Support

Home Support aides may provide assistance and support for the client to help with household tasks.

Respite Care

We can stay with clients for short periods of time (1 – 3  hours) while a caregiver is absent during daytime hours Monday to Friday (not including stat holidays).

Seasonal Cleaning

We can not provide any form of personal care. Clients may choose to shower or bathe themselves while our staff are in their home to help increase their sense of safety.

Equipment

We do not  provide equipment.  Vacuum cleaners, mops, pails, cloths, cleaning supplies and any other equipment necessary to do the job must be supplied by the client.

Please Note We Do Not:

• Shampoo carpets
• Do laundry by hand or iron
• Do yard work
• Clean up after pets
• Move heavy appliances
• Clean recreational vehicles
• Clean outside windows
• Wash drapery
